Encouraging Curiosity at Southville Primary Nursery School
A belief that adventure is never far away underpins the ethos at Southville Primary School's Nursery. From feeding the chickens to digging out the vegetable patch, the children are encouraged to explore the outdoors and link their learning to real life. We believe in a hands-on approach that develops and encourages curiosity, creativity and independence. Many of the children continue their learning journey into Reception at the school, building on their learning and maintaining lasting friendships. If you would like to meet the staff and look around, please contact the school office.
We offer both part-time and full-time places in our Nursery. All children are entitled to 15-hours funded childcare term-time only from the term after their 3rd birthday, starting in September, January and April each year. If your family meets the criteria, your child may also be entitled to an additional 15-hours funded childcare during term-time only. Please see https://www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-tax-free-childcare to check your child's eligibility.
